The Scottsdale Plaza is now hiring a Banquet Server On Call !

Description: The Banquet Servers are responsible for helping with the function set-up, preparation, actual serving and clean-up of banquet events.   Banquet servers work on a staff of from 3 to 25 servers, depending on the size of  the banquet, and at times will be asked to serve at events away from the hotel.

Skills / Requirements

Qualifications:   Two years of food service in a restaurant or banquet facility is preferred, but not required. Must have strong people skills, be a team player, willing to learn, and disciplined  in accepting commands. Must be clean cut and  have well-trimmed facial hair.

 

Physical requirements:

Must be able to stand and/or walk up from 4 to 6 hours.
Frequent bending, stooping and lifting is required
Must be able to carry up to 30lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs on occasion.
