The Scottsdale Plaza Resort has an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to grow in the hospitality field. We have an opening for a Front Desk Supervisor.


Description: Provide day-to-day supervision, direction and leadership to Front Desk employees (Guest Service Associates “GSA”). Respond, research and resolve guest satisfaction concerns. Maintain communication with departments to ensure correct and timely delivery of information related to guest activity. Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed by staff and authorize/control rebate activity to guest accounts. Manage department training, evaluation, coaching and counseling to motivate staff to achieve and exceed performance standards. Review daily labor schedules to ensure productivity and service standards are met. Assure work accuracy through daily monitoring and correction of cashier audit work. Promote GSA communication. Acts as the liaison between the Front Desk and the Manager, Front Desk Operations.  


Qualifications: One year managerial experience. Two to five years Front Desk experience. Cash handling experience. Strong communication skills. Ability to work independently. Flexible hours.


Physical Requirements: Able to stand for long periods of time.

Candidates must be able to effectively communicate with guest as well as co-workers and other departments within the resort. Customer service skills are highly desired. Cash handling experience is also required. Candidates must also be able to work flexible hours depending on the different shifts.
